BOARD
The GC Tribe Baseball & Softball Club was founded in 2016 combining the Granite City Braves Baseball and Jr Warriors Baseball Associations. The goal of the organization is to provide a high level of development, competition, and preparation for our athletes in their journey towards middle school and high school baseball & softball at Coolidge and Granite City High School. The GC Tribe Baseball & Softball Club Board is made up of Granite City residents consisting of former baseball and softball players and coaches.

MIKE WIELGUS
VICE PRESIDENT
Mike is entering his 19th year coaching middle school baseball for Triad CUSD #2. He was part of the coaching staff that brought home a state championship in 2010. He began coaching with the Jr. Warriors in 2008 and has been with the organization since then. He was one of the founding members when the Jr. Warriors merged with the Braves baseball program to become the GC Tribe Baseball & Softball Club. Mike serves as Vice President and handles all things media.

Stacey has been with the GC Tribe for 4 years, serving as the manager for the 10U boys baseball team. She has recently joined the board within the last year and looks forward to the future
MATT LIENEMANN
MEMBER
Matt has been involved in coaching softball for 14 years. He got his start coaching park recreational softball in 2007. In 2012, he joined the Jr. Warriors where he was an assistant coach for the first select Granite City softball team. In 2015, he took over as head coach for the Lady Jr. Warriors. In 2017, he briefly retired as a coach and joined the GC Tribe board. In 2019 he returned as an active coach

Pat has been involved in coaching & managing youth sports teams for over 20 years. Pat joined the Jr. Warriors Baseball Association as a coach in 2012. In 2015, he succeeded Kevin Sykes as President of the JWBA. Formerly serving as President, Pat currently manages all player registrations and media.
